About Predictive Science

Founded by Drs. Jon A. Linker, Zoran Mikić and Pete Riley in 2008, Predictive Science is an employee-owned company that delivers state-of-the-art scientific solutions to our customers. In addition to five scientists, we currently support an office manager, programmer, and three student interns. At present, our research programs focus on the development and application of sophisticated magnetohydrodynamic models of the Sun's corona and heliosphere, in an effort to answer fundamental scientific questions about how and why the Sun behaves in the way it does. Ultimately, our models will be transitioned into operational codes, capable of predicting space weather conditions with up to four days advance warning. Our programs support a number of NASA missions, including STEREO and the Solar Dynamics Observatory, and are performed under the auspicies of NASA, the National Science Foundation, and the Air Force Office of Sponsored Research.
